Some of the mature Beach antiques are sure to respectfully remember John Currie and Brian Williams. Both of whom played at the top level, this is for their information and interest. This year we said goodbye to two old friends, Brian Williams and John Currie. They were both immigrants as young men, one from the U.K. and the other R.S.A. They were close to the same age and made major contributions to Canadian Rugby, especially The Toronto Nomads. They will be sadly missed by all who knew them. Our thoughts remain with Carol and Vicky. Their lives will be celebrated on Sunday Sept 8th from 2-6 at The Rose and Crown on Yonge just north of Eglinton. Please pass on the word. We hope for a good showing to toast these Rugby legends! John Edwards – It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you of the passing of long time Beach member John Edwards. Please pray for his family during this most difficult time. http://mountpleasantgroup.permavita.com/site/JohnEdwards1.html
