Beach Women went under the lights on Friday night in Mississauga. They continue their dominating ways by absolutely dominating the Blues. They put on a show by playing fantastic defense that led to turnovers and covertering to tries. The women win again Beach 33 – Mississauga 22
Beach 3s unfortunately were not able to field a team so we took a forfeit Aurora 20 – Beach 0
The Beach 2 were in tough on the road last week in Aurora. The sidelines were lined with the Barbarian faithfuls which made it difficult for the Blue and Gold to get the momentum needed for the win. The Beach played well with flashes of brilliance in the backline but some timely errors were too much to overcome. Aurora 25 – Beach 15
Beach TRU Mens made their way to Sunnybrook Park to play the Dragons. The see-saw battle saw the Beach leading at the half. The Dragons were able to make some adjustments and make a late run but came up short. Beach 24 – Dragons 21
The ORU1 had a rough go in Aurora to end the day. They came out firing on all cylinders and doing what they do best, crisp lineouts, excellent hands and dominating scrums. We got on the board first but the Barbs weren’t going to let that lead last long. The Barbs had a few line breaks and took advantage of our mistakes which led to scores. The final was Barbs 48 – Beach 14
