TRU II – Beach V Dragons II: 20-0
No game took place due to Beach Default

TRU I – Beach V Dragons I: 68-12 – Not a lot to report on this one. A game was played, but after scoring the first try within the first 2 minutes of game play the writing was on the wall and there was only one way that this fixture was going to go. 80minutes later the final whistle blew with a final score of 68-12. The next three fixtures for the TRU I’s are critical as we need to sweep them all to finish first in our division.

ORU II – Beach V Ajax II: 33-5 – Ajax put up a fight, however nothing in their arsenal was going to stop the Beach ORU II’s how continued their winning ways. Typical to their form the forwards set up a strong and successful set piece, which the backs then capitalized on to slice and dice their way to multiple tries.

ORU I – Beach V Ajax I: 38-12 – We’ve got to give it to Ajax. We’ve been playing regularly for 4 years. They have never won a game against us, but man do they bring the big hits every time regardless. After three early scores it was clear that Beach was going to win this game, but you wouldn’t know that from watching a determined Ajax side who time and time again fronted up to deliver big hits and try to grind out a few tries. Once again, stand out performances from James Webb, and his fellow Queens teammate Owen Lee who connected for a beauty of a cross kick in the second half. On to Peterborough next week, and the Scottish the week after that. Two wins will see us lock up our conference in week 9 of competition. UTB!
